Is gaming great?
Ya! Whys this even posed as a question?! I been gaming ever since I was super small. Got intro'd to it by being taken to some place with an arcade machine that I "played on". Then we got consoles an from there I've ended up playing games for life! An posting about 'em here cause as can plainly be seen the vast majority of this site is an always has been gaming focused.
The very first/top section is "Video Games" an I'm pretty sure always has been. Both spinoff sites I once had were kicked off from games. The Phantasy Star an Chansey Shrine sections are still around an kickin' an alongside those once upon a time were ones for Animal Crossing, Lunar, an Star Ocean 2! Naturally the bulk of this site is .hack related which is extremely video games! At some points in time I had ideas floating around for an FF7 related section since its my fave game an all.
Dunno why the beaten games lists only started showing up in 2006. Seems like a real oversight on my part! If I dug back into the update archives I may find some/many instances of me mentioning beating a game between 2000~2005 but it'd be buncha work for something likely incomplete. In 2011 I started including the time it took to beat 'em, an it was around 2014 they I stopped taking "in-game time" at face value an started tracking play time myself. Which means I got a notepad full of stuff like "started 6:31 p.m. stopped 8:09:49 p.m. = 1:38:49" o.o
The games list has been changed up a bunch over time, random games scores as well, both of which have been around forevers. Latecomers like the backlog, best times, an intro'd this year the gallery further add to this site big ol' gaming focus! An it serves ta remind me that even in times of money troubles or ending up with a game I don't like, or other stuff, that I got lotsa games ta fall back on, look forward to, an all the fun that comes with it! An mentioning about whatever I'm playin' will forever be a big part of this place!
I just do this all for fun anyhow so none of the above really matters~
