Just when you thought it was all over...
  
If you're getting into .hack// with this manga you're jumping in a little late! But that's okay, its a good fun read in its own right. The manga takes place four years after the original series of game end and is also the basis for the second TV series. However, unlike the Legend of the Twilight anime, the manga is the official third major story arc of the series. Also of note is that this series began being published before SIGN began airing and Infection came out, which means somebody thought it was a good starting point!
 
Later releases of this series in north america saw them put together in a boxset and a single book. And for, at the very least the single book version, they did correct some errors that made it into the original individual volume releases!
