I have to say that this demo is uh..... really lacking. No tutorial, story bits or anything were included. They just plops you down into "Delta Courageous Engaging Daydream" and leaves the rest to you. It's a level 20 field and Haseo, Atoli and Pi are level 20 themselves. In the actual full version of that game, this would mean a fairly even - maybe somewhat challenging fight. Instead, the three whole battles there are, are rather easy... that is, if you know what you're doing.
The Goblin Guard enemies take little damage from Haseo's twin-blades so go ahead and equip his sword. And while you're at it, edit the Skill Trigger as you have access to three skills for each weapon even though the default is set to all Gale Blade / Tiger Blitz. Anyway wander around the area fighting two sets of three Goblin Guards each and a group off three Crumple Tree enemies. That's another oddity about this demo. Three Crumple Tree? Generally the giant sized enemies are "bosses" of an area and are alone... yet here well, it doesn't matter. If you have the sword equipped it is an easy fight.
With all three symbol fragments collected, the door to the inner chamber with the Beast Statue is opened. Run or ride your motorbike over there and kick open the treasure chest to grab a random(?) item then sit back and watch the trailer for G.U. Vol.2: Reminisce that has been on Namco-Bandai's website for some time now.
All in all this was a pretty poor demo. I don't mind it being easy, because demos shouldn't be too hard so as to allow newcomers to enjoy it... but with no tutorial, most players won't even know they can change weapons and skills. While the gameplay should hook people, having no story or point at all to the mission other than viewing the trailer sucks. They could have at least thrown in a battle with AIDA or something.
