After raising your first Grunty it will give you the key item Grunty Flute! It allows you call them for a ride throughout the Theta Server fields (and other servers in the following games). Which one you get to ride is random. While riding one Magic Portals won't open and roaming monsters can't attack you! This makes it quick and easy if you just want to head straight for the dungeon. Aside from that they also have some decent items to trade for.

Noble Grunty: The default Grunty-type for all servers. "Mon Ami!"
- To raise one, feed it:
• About 25 servings of anything. You don't need to waste rare Piney Apples on these fellars.
Iron Grunty: A fan favorite. "Clang!"

• 04 | Piney Apple
• 12 | Golden Egg
Poison Grunty: Grunty + Frog? "Ribbit"

• 01 | Invisible Egg

- Where's the food? -
Talking to the gruntys nets you some hints as to where the food they want can be found. Once they grow from little to kid the hints become much clearer. There were a few foods I haven't been able to get the little gruntys to ask for, so their version of the hints are sadly blank for now!

White Cherry: "I wanna eat something cold and really sweet, oink! They grow by a really cold pillar, oink!"

Mandragora: "I wanna eat something noisy, oink! They grow by a pointy tower, oink!"
Piney Apple: "I wanna eat something crispy and sweet, oink! They grow deep in the green forest, oink!"
