* this is found in a chapter featuring .hack stuff, as their equipment tends to, but there is no weapon with that name in the .hack games, whether or not its supposed to related or not I'm uncertain.
Other Info
- This game features even more time displaced characters and Haseo is one of them! Kite's from 2011 again, after the events of the first PXZ, while Haseo is from 2017.
- Unlike Kite, Haseo hasn't finished his journey. He's pulled from sometime after regaining his 3rd form in Reminisce but before learning the truth about Tri-Edge. This is also why he only knows Sign hacking and not also Area hacking, and mentions having never been to an Outer Dungeon before.
- Haseo seems to know or at least acknowledge the legendary Kite which is something he could've easily learned in passing since Legacy and Legend of the Twilight showed the .hackers to be famous.
- Like the first game, PXZ2 seems to take place in 2011 again since Reiji and many other characters are from "Kite's time". Apparently official word is that the game takes place 2 years after PXZ sooo... ???
- The music tracks used to represent .hack in this game are Two Gentle Hands, Stairs of Time, and Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground. Once the music player is unlocked after you beat the game, their track numbers are 46, 47, and 48.
