This part of the story takes place in a quaint little town called Takayama which is full of lore and legends. Tokuoka shows up there to meet Kyoko, a girl mentioned near the end of the previous episode. "It's some kind of threat. Is that what you think?"
As the pair follow clues around town both Mai and Yuki contact them with further clues from fake e-mails indicating they are being watched as well. Along the way much is revealed about Emma Wielant, the author of the famous poem "Epitaph of Twilight", the basis for "The World." Tokuoka quips that all this clue solving and searching to a real-life RPG. As they reach the end they meet Bith the Black in person who has much to discuss. An alliance is proposed which could potentially lead to Kyoko & Tokuoka being considered criminals...
Will they ally themselves with Helba? Could they be arrested? And is everything about to be solved?
