Sometime after the epilogue of .hack//G.U. Vol.3: Redemption the heroes of "The World R:2" receive a suspicious e-mail from "Ovan" telling them to visit [Delta] Hidden Forbidden Festival...
Saku and Endrance are the first to arrive on the scene. Since Endrance is interested in finding Haseo, Saku decides to "help" him out by dragging him away! Shino and the insecure as ever Atoli arrive next and have a nice little chat until Tabby and Sakisaka make their appearance. Apparently Tabby had never been introduce to Atoli until now which causes some confusion. The pair wonder off just before Haseo finally shows up.
"Instead of attacking people like monsters, isn't it possible for them to be reborn and assimilate into game characters?"
Deeper into the area Tabby finds and opens a treasure box. When a strange looking monster accompanied by black spots pop out of it she and Sakisaka run away and manage to break up Saku's attempt at getting close to Endrance in the process! After some ineffective attacks Haseo manages to stop the monster but is stopped finishing it off by Shino who claims it has a message which Atoli is able to relay.
Afterwards the festival grounds are shown to be back to the brim with as many Roots & G.U. characters as you can think of, all enjoying the virtual festival! "Returner", reflecting on the good AIDAs message Haseo and the others agree Ovan will be back someday. The scene cuts to another area where we find Aina who gets to be the first to welcome him back...... The End!
