In order to try and uncover some meaning to the words in Osamu's hospital room, Salvador returns to where his investigation began, Associate Professor Sugai's apartement with Michiru in tow. Or rather the other way around, as Sugai only allowed him inside thanks to Michiru!
He informs the pair that "Skeith, Innis, and Magus" were noted in the Epitaph of Twilight and that whoever wrote them in the hospital must've felt strongly about "The World" thus providing a possible link. It also turns out that 6 of the missing students were in the Moon Tree guild.
"There were many unresolved rumors circulating about The World seven years ago..."
The associate professor mentions about the coma victims and how his own investigation is based on how he believes "The World" has an unknown effect on people! They then view scenes from a lab in which the kids were being treated and just as in Osamu's home, strange things were going on with electrical equipment. And then spooking everyone, Michiru's cellphone rings and after checking the message she suddenly runs off...
