Under the cover of darkness the Online Jack crew along with Prof. Sugai head for CC Corp's #4 Lab. As he works on bypassing the labs securtiy to gain entry, he talks about how some infected players, like Uike Toru became "leaders" while much of the rest became "followers" and how even if he loses his job for doing this he'll have no regrets.

Its explained that CC Corp. knew the risks of the game and tried to cover it up by observing all afflicted patients themselves. They begin to inspect one of the labs many rooms, when a monitor flashes on displaying "The World's" login screeniin which they get a glimpse of The Rebirths activation! After recovering from the bright light it caused, they find themselves caught by the labs security guards...
